For your sake, I hope that lesson is learned quickly enough on this one to prevent a repeat of what happened to you on myFICO.

Oh, I see. It's not okay for kdm to "misrepresent" your spend as stated on MyFico - even without naming names (funny how you still manage to find him, referring to you, here) - but it's okay for you to threaten him with his longevity and future at MyFico. Oh, and when did you get moderator status there? Congrats!

Btw, go ahead and take threads from here to complain on MF. Their mods are good about one thing: they despise bringing up things that don't happen on MF to rag on someone on MF. So go for it.

Threaten KDM'S longevity? Oh goodness me, no. I don't have that power. Consider it advice from one concerned member to another.

But I certainly can correct him when he posts misinformation. I don't need to be a moderator to do that, and I will continue to do so. :)

And yes, it is quite funny indeed how quickly things spread between these forums. It is almost like there are people who frequent both forums who are functionally literate, like me (and others), that can put 2 and 2 together to make 4 and realize that in long, oddly descriptive diatribes that they are being talked about. Truly astounding.

You must be one of the few at MF that can get away with posting correct information then.
Chase Freedom $9k~~Chase Sapphire Preferred $6.5k~~Amex Blue Cash Preferred $12.4k~~Citi Double Cash $4.7k

It was basically frowned upon for me to even point out to people that opening 5 new cards for an extra 1% on this or that wasn't worthwhile. I would usually get a couple kudos followed by a bunch of people saying "let them do what they want!" and crap. Of course at the end of the day, these are just forums and people are going to indeed apply for what they want. Neither me nor anyone else can stop them, so yes, obviously they will do what they want. But does that mean I have to tell them it's a great idea? No. But on myfico, you either say it's a good idea, say nothing, or get banned, pretty much.

It is a rarity, actually. Lol.

I agree with Nixon. Let's keep the criticism going, as long as it is true. There is enough actual craziness going on that we don't have to make up anything extra.

The average sanity level is far higher on this site. There are plenty of legitimately crazy people on myfico who unfortunately get nothing out of the site other than to have their addictions fed.

You must be astounded easily, and impressed with yourself even more easily. Come to think of it, that sums up many on MF. (Yes, now go and tell that.)

What's not so astounding is that people like yourself are so busy building their credit (and having a life) that they seem to have ample time to stalk their anonymous reputation from one forum to another and opine about why someone else got banned for some other forum while, with no sense of irony, accusing them of spreading "misinformation." It's almost as though kdm touched a nerve; good on him.
