Cards not listed on the website...

Postby Tubpbs » Sun Nov 15, 2015 5:46 pm

The idea is to name cards that are known to be issued by certain card companies but are not listed on the website... i.e. Amex Platinum Mercedes Benz, Amex Platinum Morgan Stanley, Amex Centurion, JP Morgan Palladium.

What others are known to be issued but not listed??
Amex - BCP, Platinum, Business Gold
BoA - BankAmericard Cash Rewards
Chase - Freedom, CSP, RC, Ink Plus
Citi - DC, Prestige
Discover - It

I'd throw in discontinued cards like Chase Sapphire (non-preferred), as these are still issued to current cardholders (replacement cards and such), but are not offered as new and therefore not listed on the website.

Discover More might also fit the bill for this.
Scores on the mend...
FICO: 650 and holding
Cards I Use Amex Delta Gold, Chase Amazon Prime VS, Capital One QuickSilver MC
Sock Drawer Discover IT, AE Visa, CareCredit, CreditOne (keeping for history for now). Various store cards for history and utilization padding
Short Goal Reach 680

BoA - BankAmericard Cash Rewards
Chase - Freedom, CSP, RC, Ink Plus

Discover - It

I'm confused. Are we talking about cards that are open to applications but not widely advertised? Cards that are still in existence but closed to new apps?
Warranties and sketchy merchants: Schwab Platinum
Price rewind: Costco
Travel insurance: Prestige, CSP
Perks: IHG, Hyatt
Rewards/Offers: Discover, Freedom, ED, BCE
Taxes/Misc: SPG

Limited value, might close: Arrival

Might add: First Tech, proper business card, Delta Gold, Aviator Red, BofA Travel

It seems like invitation-only cards or those that are not advertised online (such as the Amex Centurion mentioned, which is invitation-only), or possibly available to those who apply by phone (Discover More was like this for a while... wonder if it still is).

I originally meant cards that are actively issued and can be acquired but that are no advertised or readily available on a company's regular site. But, I would say I'm happy to see all examples posted...
Amex - BCP, Platinum, Business Gold
BoA - BankAmericard Cash Rewards
Chase - Freedom, CSP, RC, Ink Plus
Citi - DC, Prestige
Discover - It
