All hard inquiries created equal?

Postby Creditbythebay » Mon Nov 02, 2015 8:16 pm

I have 4 hard pulls in the past 2 years, but none of them are from CC applications. 2 are from a single auto loan, one is from my landlord and the other is from my cable company.
Will all CC companies see these as 4 hard pulls? Or do they not care about none-credit based inquiries?

Currently sitting at 670 score, about 40% utilization on $5k quicksilver. Looking for better airline/travel rewards. Score should jump soon, as I recently made a big payment and had a CL increase.

Thanks all

A HP is a HP. Scoring models may combine HP's in cases such as auto and mortgage loan shopping but the inquiries have to be properly coded. The HP's in such cases will appear separate on reports but will be combined by the scoring model.
