Meeting minimum spend on Chase Hyatt.

Gardening until I find a useful, lucrative airline card offer...unless one of the Schwab Amex cards turns out to be very different than what most people are expecting.

What are the conditions / terms of gardening?

As I understand it, it refers primarily to voluntary inquiries? Excludes pulls for real estate for example? Is that wrong?

Curious. Thanks all.

Requests for credit resulting in hard pulls and new accounts in general are in non compliance for gardening. Hard pulls for basic services, rentals and the like are compliant.

I'm going to need a student loan soon to pay for this last semester of college. 9 years in the making, so I am pretty happy to say it will be my last loan. I'll probably stick with Discover, which will be a TU pull. That puts me at 6 TU inqs and 3 on my others. It's weird how it works out like that.

No other plans for credit for me. I'm starting to talk the wife into getting her own CSP since chase has been a real pain in the ass about letting AUs make payments. We have shared checking, savings, and Freedom accounts, yet she can't make a payment towards the CSP. Total bullshit.

I've been in the garden for several months now. I'm always on the lookout for something to good to pass up though. Realistically I have no plans to leave in the foreseeable future. I'm working on paying down some debt and paying off my car. It's a slow process with a wife that sees available credit as money to be spent...

Don't know if this takes me out of the garden or not, but just noticed on my BOA account that there was a Request credit increase button that had not been there before, so I hit it and request my CL to go from $1,500 to $5,000 on my cash rewards Visa and was approved. cool!
