Addicts. Interestingly enough, CA has been closing accounts lately.

It's pretty sad how SCT-crazy can flourish there under the protection of FSR and embedded common thinking.

It makes the garden "cult" there look so much better by comparison.

It's just weird how some people with decent cards go needlessly for Comenity cards en masse, get AA, and then end up with a lot of almost-0 AAoA entries.

CA = CreditAddict, a MF member with a lot of cards.
FSR = Friendly, Supportive, and Respectful. The official "live and let live" MF philosophy. http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Forum-Etiquette/td-p/2905196

FSR as a concept isn't the problem here as much as the clique mentality and poor credit behaviour coddling.

Got a snail mail offer for Double Cash. 0% APR for 18 months, 15.99% thereafter. No cash signup bonus.

The rewards do nothing for me, though from an APR/0% period perspective it's one of the nicer offers I've gotten.

I'm still able to resist the Citi AA Platinum.

If it's worth anything to you, despite everything I've read... I have had a positive experience with Citi mostly since day one which is more than 6 years ago.

I have had situations where I have thought to myself that certain behavior, decision making or actions on their part have been unusual and sometimes unusual to the point of stupid, but all in all I do recommend them highly as a lender / bank. Something about them rubs me the right way, while other institutions might rub me the wrong way or leave me with no remark.

Been in & out of the Garden more than a Farmer in June!
Was Pre-qual for Barclaycard Arrival plus WEMC so bit like a hungry Catfish & Approved with $3,500 CL. Now when time is right I will get rid of Cap one QS one & Chase slate and have my line-up that I want. Tried to get them to increase my limit on the Arrival + to $7,000, but no go. Not any history with them and too many inquiries. Back in the Garden to stay
Discover it $3k
BOA CR Visa Sig. $18K
Chase Freedom Visa $2K
Chase MRP Visa Sig. $5K
Cap 1 Vent Visa Sig. $13K
Citi HH Visa Sig. $8.5K
AMEX Plat NPSL
AMEX BCP $20K
AMEX Gold Delta SM $8K
BC AR + WEMC $3.5K
Cap 1 Spark Busin Visa $2K
Chase Ink Cash Busin Visa Sig. $5K

I want the Citi AA card eventually. What I dislike is that the 50k offer is only for a limited time. I have some PRG credits to use up, first, before I add new cards. I also have Hyatt minimum spend (only $1k, though).

If I knew I could apply in 3 or 4 months for the same 50k AA offer, I'd do it then.

Did you just get it for the first-year bonus? Or you plan to make it your "everything else" card? A double-rewards Discover can be as good if you redeem for discounted gift cards.

When it comes to CLIs, Barclaycard likes a lot of spending and regular use. Not surprisingly, I've not gotten a CLI on either Arrival/Sallie in 6/15 months.
