You're a sophisticated credit user aware you're taking a risk. I just don't want others to get the idea doing it is necessarily a safe thing.

Worst case, they rebilled the fee after forcing a CLI back to a limit high enough to make it stick. Since they are as tight as they are and I am at max exposure with them: I don't see it happening.

Isn't it the SL that matters for CARD purposes, though? The SL was high enough to charge the fee. Also, nothing stops them from just CLDing another card you have with them.

Can you clarify your move Nixon?

You moved your credit line to another card and that somehow restricts their ability to charge you the annual fee?

I am interested in more details. You can PM me too if it's not something that should be discussed on here openly. Thanks.
Amex - BCP, Platinum, Business Gold
BoA - BankAmericard Cash Rewards
Chase - Freedom, CSP, RC, Ink Plus
Citi - DC, Prestige
Discover - It

And why does that eliminate the annual fee?
