One of our blog reporters (Kristin McGrath) is compiling credit/credit card horror stories (to run on the blog around Halloween).
If you or anyone you know has a good story to share, please contact her directly at email@example.com
, rather than replying to this post. To take part, you must be willing to have your first and last name and city/metro area printed. Please email Kristin a quick summary of your story, and she'll contact you for more details.
She's looking for:
-Frightening stories of debt
-Lost/stolen card tales
-Frustrating chargeback experiences
-Experiences with identity theft
-Or anything else related to credit/credit cards that you'd tell people about as a cautionary tale
In addition to the story itself, she'll be asking what you learned from it and what you'd like to tell others who are in a similar situation.
We can't use anything that overtly bashes an issuer, but if you have a customer service tale of woe and story still makes sense without mentioning the issuer, we'd love to hear it.
Again, if you'd like to participate in the story, please email Kristin directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
. Stories shared as replies to this post will be fun to read, but won't be in the article.
