Not a card specifically, but I always get looks like I just stepped out of the Tardis when I use Apple Pay at a place like Walgreens.
Wallet: Chase Freedom, Discover IT

I just can't do it...can't put my info in my phone. It's too risky, to me. Yes, if your wallet gets stolen, it's the same thing, but I have heard there are things one can download that actually leach the Apple Pay data from your phone if they stand close enough, etc.

The point is every "new and secure" method is eventually broken. If hackers want to hack it, they will. Nothing is foolproof, I don't care what Apple or Google says. Anything can be compromised. Virtual wallets and chip cards make it harder yes, but not impossible.

Now if you like using Apple Pay just because you like it that's cool too, I just find it funny because so many people go on about the "security" and realistically, it's probably not a huge amount more secure than using a chip card besides the fact that you don't really know what data Apple is getting out of it. Yes, they swear up and down they get no data, but do I believe them? No.

Sorry this is kinda an off topic rant and you didn't even argue about Apple Pay so sorry in advance haha

My CSP and Marriott card gets a lot of comments due to it being heavy and metal. My other ones not so much except my clear AMEX card sometimes gets comments.
Platinum Delta Skymiles $12,900
Marriott Rewards Premier $12,000
Discover IT $12,000
USAA Cash Rewards $11,000
American Express Blue Cash Preferred $10,000
Chase Sapphire Preferred $6,500
Best Buy $6,000
Chase Freedom $4,500
Zales $4,000
Amazon Prime $4,000

I'm surprised that Arrival+ isn't metal yet. It would seem like a way to regain some market share from Venture.

Really, going metal seems like a good move for any AF card that tries to have a semi-status image, but that on analysis delivers a mediocre long-term value.
Love: IHG, Platinum, Sallie Mae, AA Plat, CSP
Like: Discover, ED, BCE, Hyatt, Arrival, Freedom
Might drop: BrooksBros, Prestige (Costco PC?)
Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold
Letting new accounts cool off since May
Really not sure what I'll add next or when

Ritz Carlton card drops the panties. decent rewards, but triple the size of the CSP in thickness/weight. and since very few people know it exists, everyone just assumes you are rich. i've been treated differently just for using that stupid card

Eh, I use it where it's available because it's quick and easy. I believe there's much less of a chance of the Apple Pay system being compromised than there would have been had I used the physical card. Their nearest competitor other than Google (CurrentC) has already been hacked so yeah, it can happen.

The info that gets transmitted from Apple Pay isn't even your actual account number. Plus, you have to authenticate with your fingerprint for transmission to happen. Apple Pay is much more secure than any card could be.

In what situations? *Do you mean being treated differently by merchants, or the people you're with?*

**And what exactly is the site's policy about semi-naughty jokes? I can think of a few relevant ones...**

I don't go to bars/clubs much, or others places where I'd build a tab. That's the obvious situation I can think of.

Mostly of my transactions involve using a card at the very end for payment, or paying electronically, where a Ritz looks like just another Visa.
