Combining Credit limits DISREGARD

Postby Whatamuji » Wed Aug 05, 2015 10:28 am

I've been doing some thinking and am considering combining the CL of my Amazon Chase card with my Chase Freedom card. I don't really see a need to have 2 Amazon products and it would save room in my wallet and I wouldn't lose the CL. My question is this, if I go ahead and combine the limits, will it have an extreme adverse affect on my credit and AAoA? I know my scores are pretty okay (700's). The Amazon card is only a couple months old and has no balance.

EDIT: Oops, I didn't see the other thread concerning this same topic so disregard this question.
Kohls: $300, Discover IT: $1.8k, Capital One Quicksilver: $2k, Amazon Store Card: $2.2k, BoA Cash Rewards: 1k, Chase Freedom: 3.2k, AMEX HHonors 3k
