No, it has a 9K limit.

That one was waived.

Isn't "waived" a generous (and optimistic) term?

If they have software that refunds AFs in an abundance of regulatory caution, they probably have software to undo the refunds where they can.

I think the CSRs are smart enough to know that when someone has a $1k CL on R-C, something funny is going on. $1k generally won't buy two nights at R-C.

Right....The $1k RC I'm sure raises eyebrows. The limits were moved around in an effort to get AFs waived. Apparently it worked for the RC but it didn't for the Prestige.

My advice? Stop wasting your time and energy on silly "tactics" to get fees waived and only get cards you can actually justify.

Prestige limit wasn't moved around. Just like that Jared kid from MF, we requested a waiver just to see if they'd do it. It didn't work, but the Citigold DID get it lowered. No harm, No foul.

The RC was also an experiment which proved successful so far. Would I have been disappointed if it didn't work? No. I had already paid the AF for the year gladly. I didn't have anything to lose by trying it. Can you accept that some like it hot, and some like it cold? Thanks.

It's not a lack of accepting it. I do accept it. I was just posting my opinion, which differs from yours. We're both equally allowed to do that.

There's nothing to lose by trying it, of course. The point I was making was the time and effort wasted. But it's up to the individual what they spend their time on.

Anyway, sorry though, it's not a personal attack. Not you, but plenty of people on forums obtain high AF cards and are almost immediately trying to get the fee waived. I just don't get it. If you can't justify it why are you applying to then stress over getting it waived? It's stupid, there are better things to do with your time.

Nixon,

I thought you once said that you couldn't get a card from Citi. I'm not sure which thread it was in, or even whether it was here or on MF.

Am I thinking of someone else? Or the Prestige predates that obstacle? Or you found a way around it?
