Credit card cash machine at casino?

Postby xtrashine » Fri May 08, 2015 5:17 am

Hi, I have noticed these machines at the casino. It's where they print you a receipt and you take it to the cashier. I've heard that you can bypass your cash advance limit. Is that true?

I have a credit card line of 5000$ and cash advance of 750$. Can I get 1000$ in cash advance from these machines?

I think everything you just talked about is the worst idea ever. There is a reason you can't buy lottery tickets with credit cards. Unfortunately there are enough stupid people trying that they had to go an make laws against it.

If you want to gamble you should do so with your own money, not your banks money.
Chase Freedom $9k~~Chase Sapphire Preferred $6.5k~~Amex Blue Cash Preferred $12.4k~~Citi Double Cash $4.7k

Nope. It doesn't bypass it.

I've used my Cash advance at a Casino before with my Ring. It was paid off the next week along with the small BT I did to it prior to that.

Not everyone that uses this option is desperate.

Not only does OP want to max out a cash advance on a CC, but they want to push the limits and go beyond and is willing to find a workaround just to do it.

VEGAS BABY!!!!

I think the difference is that you were ok with the cash limit. OP sounds like he is looking for $5k to go bananas with. That sounds desperate to me.

This is just a simple question, I don't need to be lecture on how to spend my money. I usually overspend at casino (shopping, dinning, parties, etc) and usually short on cash. I wanna know if these machines can get me the cash I needed.
