I'd love to register a new username and try to get banned after 1 post. I wonder what it would take to achieve that?

"What's your favorite way to MS?"
"Wanna know how to access the EX/EQ/TU backdoors?"
"Get your butt-naked pictures of Lexie right here!"

You don't find it redundant to have both? There aren't many places that take one but not the other. The ones that come to mind are Costco (for now), Sam's Club, and some insurance companies.

I only use the Fidelity Amex for Serve loads and purchases at Costco over $50. I haven't used DC much at all.

Why $50?

I like to put some 1% on my BCP. If it's under $50, I don't mind passing up on the extra 1% by using BCP.

You don't want Amex to label you as a "6% only" person? Or your trips to traditional grocery stores (not Costco) are large but infrequent and you like to keep the card active? You are paying a $75 AF, so I can't see why it should bother them that you'd want the best rewards.

I can understand Barclaycard getting a little frustrated with me for using Sallie Mae so selectively. There's no AF there.

In part, yes, but at the same time you can chalk some of it up to loyalty. When I was on a debt payment plan, Amex was my only card and I would put all my spending on it. This was before I knew about rewards, MS, etc. Nowadays I only use it to buy $500 Visa GCs or Reloadit Packs, but for some reason I like to "reward" my BCP with some 1% spend every once in a while

Interesting. So if you only pay part of the balance, you dont get 1% of what you've paid?

One reason I decided to go with EDP over a PC of BCE to BCP is that I don't have to compromise when it comes to off-category rewards. Also, Amex CS does get some complaints, but not nearly as many as Citi (Double Cash) or Barclaycard (Arrival+).

I love my new Marriott card, the first purchase I put on it was at a restaurant (that is part of the AAdvantage dining program) and the bartender immediately complimented it. I'm only 2 months from my second 3x CLI on my AMEX, which will give me two cards 10k plus.

And how bout yesterday I randomly pulled up my Chase online account to check my purchases on my new card, and my CSP received an auto 1k increase!? A nice reward for getting the Marriott and being responsible everywhere else maybe? After they declined my CLI in December, I was set to wait until July to ask for another (1 year anni). Now I am pleased enough to just wait 6 months on that.

I feel like I have a good mix of cards. I have no desire to app for another, and the only thing that will change that will be next year if I don't pay off the AMEX in time before the 0% promotion ends, I might be inclined to B/T somewhere. Given my track record so far (everthing is either PIF or well in advancec of end of promotion rate), I'm in cruise control.

One last note, my Buy Power GM Card and my US Airways are 4 or 5 months from another CLI, probably will have to recon with them again, but maybe not second go round. Discover I'm not too worried about until I get this B/T paid down as it took up majority of the CL.

3 of my cards have credit score trackers and I noticed it took a dip for the work demo lease I took out. Score hovering around 715-725 (after the dip), utilization still hovering between 19-22 percent and my Marriott line hasn't shown up yet. So good time to start the "garden" and sit back watchin my score rebound.
