*UPDATED* Trouble logging in? Follow these instructions

Postby CreditCardGuru » Thu Apr 23, 2015 4:43 pm

Hi everyone,

Some of you have been having trouble logging in, and we're really sorry for this inconvenience.

Here's what's going on: Some of the passwords don't meet the requirements of the new system and therefore did not transfer over correctly.

What to do about it: If you couldn't log in before, try again. If your password was one of those with issues, you'll get a screen explaining that "It was not possible to convert your password when updating this bulletin board's software" and that includes a link for you to request a new password. We've heard from a few of you by email this morning (Fri April 24) that this still didn't work. If that's you, then please try again now (we're being told the problem has been fixed). If you're still having problems, please send us an email via our contact form here.

We apologize we can't fix this from our end -- and we hope you'll take the time to re-set your password, even though it's an inconvenience. For everyone who has given us so much helpful feedback today, thanks a million!

If you've still had problems logging in, even after re-setting your password, please try again now (and follow the prompts to re-set). We think this issue is fixed for everyone this time -- and would very much like to hear from anyone who is still having trouble.

If you are still having trouble, please send us an email via our contact form here.

Thanks, everyone.
