So PLASTC is dead. No refunds for pre-orders. Anyone here order this thing?

I'm a late adopter of technology in general, and didn't go near this.

Sure, it seemed kind of cool, but I don't think any issuer ever officially supported it. And, of course, some merchants would refuse to take something so unknown.

I can find a MF thread where people talk abut pre-ordering that dates back to late 2014...even before Apple Pay was launched. The pre-orderers seemed to expect a mid-2015 launch. I don't know if that was ever realistic, but such extreme delays alone may have doomed it to obsolescence even if they got new investment capital.

Limited value, might close: Arrival

Might add: First Tech, proper business card

Glad I dodged that particular bullet. I never saw the appeal over the likes of ApplePay anyway.

I thought it was interesting but pretty impractical.

Not too surprised they went down - pretty messed up they aren't giving anyone their money back.
Amex - BCP, Platinum, Business Gold
BoA - BankAmericard Cash Rewards
Chase - Freedom, CSP, RC, Ink Plus

A year?

Latest promised by date was Q2 2017, so we invoked code 30.
