I see the concern of these cards being obsolete in no time if the credit card issuers wanted to but I also see a great opportunity on these things taking off... MasterCard already joined forces with a card called Dynamics e-plate or something like that, it may not be the same type of cards but they're pretty similar
[B]Cards:
1st. Express NEXT --------------$1,990
2nd.Cap1 Platinum MC ---------$3,250
3rd. Discover IT -------------------$5,600
4th. CSP Visa Signature --------$13,000
5th. Citi TY Pref World MC ------$5,900
6th. Freedom Visa Signature ---$7,900
7th. Amex Blue Cash Everyday-$18,000
8th. Barclays Arrival+ WEMC---$13,000

Dunno, to each his own. I like the look and individual feel to each of my cc's.
Wouldnt feel safe with such technology either.

When all the rewards and fraud protections are available in a device like that with a long battery life, I might get one. For now, I'm happy with my wallet, despite the occasional George Costanza joke.

My wallet is very well-organized, but it is nearly 2 inches thick.

While it may seem like a good idea, what happens when you are out at the store and the "card" decides not to work anymore. Then you are just stuck. I believe that I will just stick with having my cards in my wallet.
Main Cards:
Amex BCE
Amex Everyday
Bank of America Cash Rewards
Chase Freedom
Capital One Quicksilver
Citi Thank You Preferred

Spark Cash Back (Business), Amex Plum (Business)

I just know a few Seinfeld fanatics. I sometimes joke about it, too. And some of the jokers I think are a little envious of my good credit and cards.

I also get random gift cards here and there and often don't use them quickly. Starbuck's is convenient, but Red Lobster much less so.
