I too successfully got the 61 day CLI, my original line was 2k, so on day 61 i was instantly approved for 6k.

I have a follow up question though, following that, when's the next time I can ask for 3x CLI? lol my AMEX has been my everyday (no pun given thats the name of the AMEX product I have) usage card since I got it.

I believe that it is 6 months. I also believe that you can only go up to $25,000 or $30,000 limit without having to give addition verification of income.
American Express $22,500
Capital One $6500
Chase $2500
CU Card $1000
Discover$2550

Thank you for the info! Looks like in 3 months I can go for 18k, and stay under the threshhold.

Google 3x CLI and you'll find plenty of info on the 3x CLI within the first hit.

This is a YMMV matter. IMO income verification is no big deal but if one is averse to providing tax transcripts then one might want to avoid it.

Amex ED is my first 20k+ limit. I read the threads and applied online for a 3x CLI after 3 months. Went from 9.5k to 28.5k
My friend went from 11.4k to 34k on his Amex delta plat. Neither of us have been asked for income verification, been a couple wks now...

I believe that it is once you do your 3X increase then the next credit limit increase will need verification, depending on what you gave them when you applied.

I'm just barely in the club with an Amex ED right at $20,000.

I started out at $11,500 and called in for a CLI after a few months. I chickened out of asking for a full 3X since it just seems so high and honestly I didn't need the full $11,500 to begin. The CSR made me request a hard dollar amount, so I just went with $20,000 and got an instant yes. I should ask for a CLI on Discover again as it has been 4 months since my last. I'd love it if I could get them to match my Amex limit.
