Discover sent me the offer after noticing my spending habits.

I'm want to understand where you're comin from. You work a part time job and make $2,100 a month, while in school. That makes perfect sense. Your parents send you an additional $4,000 a month? I can't relate to that LOL. Your parents thought about adoption? Would they take me? lol j/k of course.

Ha i love your joke i wish it was 4 grand a month from them :) . Go look at the instagram page Rich kids of instagram.

But seriously though i have a 2100 income on my own, then i get around 300 $ a month from my parents. So its 6 grand a year.

That's not bad

My mom gave me 100 a week during hs for food and stuff (movies, pocket money for field trips, etc) and my own cc at 16--just arrived in the mail one day and she didn't even tell me beforehand

But we were far from rich, probably considered poor in terms of the area we live in.

The cc had a cl of 3k and she told me to only use it for emergencies, never had one so it was rarely used.

I never had a chance to "go crazy" because I never was restricted really..never had a curfew or anything like that either

When it came to my own app, because I am in CA, I put the household income as requested and my own meager one from when I worked part time as after school teacher.

I felt comfortable doing so because if I ever got myself in a jam my mom hesitate to bail me out

Sad these days, applying for ccs isn't the same and more strict. I'm amazed by how many get rejected because they don't have enough revolving credit or history on their file
