Advice applications

Hey guys! I have a friend in Texas who is looking to obtain a few new credit cards. We have a few issues and that is why I am seeking some help.

He filed bk in 2007, which has cleared off of his credit report but the creditors have a long history and will remember him. We do not want to attempt to take inquiries if he had a previous bad banking relationship, he filed bk on Amex, Barclays, Chase and BOA credit cards.

He has a clean credit report and a good history since 07'. He currently has 8k discover, 5k chase "which they let him keep" and misc 5k store cards - all cards have 5+ year aaoa. His fico is at a 740 so I am assuming he will qualify for most anything but we do not know what creditors are liberal and which are conservative.

We are looking for low interest intro cards and liberal creditors. He is NOT a member of USAA of NFCU. Which companies or cards will be best for him?

Difficult to answer such questions. APR's are based on credit so you can't just rely on creditor. If looking for easy approvals credit unions with more lax approval criteria are generally recommended. Try using the Credit Pulls database (Google it).
