You don't say which cards you applied for with Barclaycard, Citi, or Capital One. If I knew that, I might have more to say.

Barclaycard can get nervous when customers open a lot of new credit in a short period of time, but the Sallie Mae and Arrival cards they offer are great cards for light spenders. I didn't get instant approval for Sallie Mae, although my phone call to speed things up only took a few minutes and they didn't ask for any paperwork.
Love: IHG, Platinum, Sallie Mae, AA Plat, CSP
Like: Discover, ED, BCE, Hyatt, Arrival, Freedom
Might drop: BrooksBros, Prestige (Costco PC?)
Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold
Letting new accounts cool off since May
Really not sure what I'll add next or when

I called Barclaycard yesterday to ask about my free FICO score that I get with my card. It has not updated in three months and was wondering why. Well, I called in and the first lady had no idea what FICO even was. She said she would transfer me to someone who does, but she just sent me to another card's customer service (BJ's). The next lady also had no idea what it was and at first started to talk to me about my reward points I have on my account. After explaining what it was she then tried to transfer me to TransUnion, but could not since it was the weekend. I guess I am so used to Discover and all my other premium cards having such good customer service that I took it for granted.
Discover IT - $5,700
Chase Freedom - $5,700
Costco Citi - $13,000
Sallie Mae - $4,000
Chase Sapphire Preferred - $6,000
Chase Sapphire Reserve - $19,500
Citi Double Cash - $6,500
Amex BCE - $13,000

FICOs: Discover (777), SallieMae (764), Amex (767), Citi (772)
FAKOs: CK- TU (760), EQ (760)

I think Barclays customer service has been decent enough for me though Discover, Bank of America (sometimes) and Chase customer service blow them out of the water.
Macy's TLs (21k), Lowes (17k), CSP (10k), Sam's Club (10k), Nordstrom (5k), AARP (4.2k), Freedom (3k), Discover (1.5k), Quicksilver (2k), BoA (3k), Barclaycard Arrival (2.5k), Amazon Store (6k), Paypal (4.9k), Sam's Club MC (3.6k), Walmart MC (1.2k)

True, I would not put anything on the Sallie Mae that I vaguely suspected I might need to dispute. Likewise, I would not give the number out over the phone for something like a pizza delivery. I would use the Freedom/Discover/an Amex there.
