Is there a secured card that gives you a higher limit right away?

Sorry if this is a silly question but is there a secured credit card that will give me an limit increase right away? Like if I were to send them $1500.00 and they give me a limit of $100 or $200 extra?

As far as I know, issuers don't want to take the risk in the beginning and they only give limit based on what you deposit. However, there are cards that can automatically increase your limit later on without needing additional deposit from you once they start trusting you.

There are some that offer limits higher than the deposit but I don't recall off the top of my head. I'd suggest searching this and other credit discssion sites. If the built-in search function isn't turning up results then try site-restricted Google searches. Just add site: and the URL to your keywords (e.g. site:creditcardforum.com for this site).

CapitalOne, if you get the $49/200 offer.
