Hi, I'm jeffysdad...

I was a frequent poster here some time ago and then just a lurker after I lost password/got locked out somehow. Anyhow, I decided to reregister for the hell of it.

I'm a longtime transactor but for a long time before that was a revolver. I pay in full and seek the best rewards now. Current cards:

FIA/Fidelity Amex Investment Rewards and Retirement Rewards, as well as FIA/Fidelity Amex Visa Investment Rewards (I've been a Fidelity customer for years.)

Chase Freedom, Amazon, IHG Rewards

US Bank Cash+

American Express Blue Cash Preferred and Everyday basic

Discover IT

Oh well. That's it.

Welcome back!

Do you have a strategy for redeeming your rewards? Like, are you "saving them" up towards anything?

FICO-8:
EX - 809 (11/16) | TU - 803 (11/16)
Primary Cards:
American Express EveryDay - $20,000 (10/14)
Discover it - $23,000 (2/14)
AU on Barclay Sallie Mae - $10,000 (8/15)
plus several store accounts of varying usefulness now

No. I basically take the cash as soon as I can get it. The only points I save are IHG, and I tend to use those after I have enough for a free night.
