Well you'd have to search them out and probably be pretty flexible about dates. You'd definitely want to make sure both award seats are available before you transfer the MR points to Krisflyer.

It might take some time figuring out how Singapore Airlines releases award availability.

So to answer your question, it depends. Technically if award seats are released and available by Singapore then yes you should be able to get 2 award tickets.

So how successful are people at keeping their 'resolutions' about how long they will stay in the garden? Has anyone made a firm commitment to garden for, say, a year but only lasted a few months? Did someone succeed at a resolution only to go on a app spree soon after?

For the purposes of this matter, I'm more concerned about apps and inquiries for credit cards. Inquiries about car loans, mortgages, rent, phone plans, etc. can be necessary while new credit cards are usually discretionary. There is some grey area here.

I don't have anything set in stone as far as gardening plans, but I am a little bugged that my TU FICO hasn't improved at all since I started gardening almost two months ago. Maybe I had one more card report or BCE hurt the AAoA or something.

I've been in the garden since 2002... that's the last time I got a card.

I got lost and never left.

I'm not sure if Comenity does business in Canada but there's got to be the Canadian equivalent to the shopping cart trick. There's gotta be a way to drapp for a card with a super-low limit with only a soft pull in Canada. Maybe the Kraft Dinner Superstore offers a card like that...
In my Wallet:
  • Amex PRG NPSL[3-14, bd 91]
  • Sallie Mae MC $8000[1-14]
  • Chase Freedom $4700[1-14]
  • Discover It $2750[8-13]
  • BoA UCF Alumni Cash Rewards $5000 [3-15]
Sometimes in my Wallet:
  • GM BuyPower WEMC $5000[9-14]
  • Wells Fargo Propel 365 Amex $7000[4-14]
  • Barclaycard Arrival WEMC $7000[3-14]
  • BoA Better Balance $3000[2-15]
In my sockdrawer: Amex BCE $1000[10-13, bd 91], OCCU Duck $10000 [11-13], The Sportsman's Guide Visa $8000[8-14], Chase Slate $4000 [9-14]Delta Gold Amex $2000 [2-15 bd 91], Diners Club MC $20000 [10-14] Commerce Bank Visa $2000 [3-15] Citi Double Cash $1000 [3-15]
Total CL: $90450

But why?! What benefit is it for me to get a new card which I don't plan to use?

Just wondering... since you said Costco in Canada will no longer take Amex from next year, are you going for the Capital One MasterCard? Or maybe just use debit cards/cash?
Citi Forward Visa $5000 10/2012 | American Express Blue Cash Everyday $8000 2/2014 | Discover it $7000 5/2014
Chase Freedom Visa Signature $7000 6/2014 | Citi ThankYou Premier Visa Signature $5000 1/2015
All EMV.

Yes, likely just use cash or debit cards. Just not interested in signing up for a card I will use at only one place! It goes against my believe of a 2 card system.... primary (Amex) and secondary for all those areas that do not take Amex. For my secondary card, I have chosen Visa and thats it.
