I do have to enter my zip code, last name, and last 4 numbers of my card with chase. It takes about 40 seconds. With discover I have to enter even less.

With Discover, they give you 5% cashback beginning the time you enroll. With Chase, they give you 5% cashback from the whole quarter you made your category purchases. At least with Chase they give you the chance to regain that cashback if you forgotten to enroll earlier in the quarter. Have to say though their categories along with Discover have not been too pleasing for me this year. I'm sure others feel different.

I've only had to click "Activate" for both my Discover and Citi Dividends.
