What cards would be good for my App Spree?

Postby fixmycredit92 » Wed Sep 17, 2014 4:39 pm

It's been a while since I've gone on an app spree and I plan on going on one next week to increase my credit history. I want to app for ten cards although Iam thinking of trying for 20. I do plan on apping for a couple Amex cards like the fidelity amex so I can start backdating. I'll also be apping for the Sears card since I work at Sears. I will also app for a Bank Of America card, a Chase Card and the US Bank + card. Anyone else know of any good cards I should app for?

Only 10? Don't be a credit slacker do at LEAST 20. For that matter why not 50? Once you reach 20, what's 30 more?

You should consider the Amex Centurion. Nothing else says I've arrived quite the way it does. Also Citi, they just love lots of inquiries, and have a new 2% card out.

Not quite sure about which cards you fit, but if you want backdating you may try buying Amex gift cards now, as you won't get hit with inquiries and you never ever need to worry about getting denied for any reason.
Citi Forward Visa $5000 10/2012 | American Express Blue Cash Everyday $8000 2/2014 | Discover it $7000 5/2014
Chase Freedom Visa Signature $7000 6/2014 | Citi ThankYou Premier Visa Signature $5000 1/2015
All EMV.

I bet if by some miracle he got the Centurion (ie. a disgruntled Amex underwriter who is planning on quiting, "Heh, heh... I'll show these f--kers they should have treated me better! I'm going to approve this loser who keeps on calling asking for an application and doesn't even have a platinum! That will teach Amex a lesson!") he would STILL app for 100 cards over the next month if for no other reason than to find a card he could transfer the Centurion initiation/annual fee to.

From what I've heard, OP should apply for the Visa Black. The prestige of the card is all marketing- there are people on FICO who get one with a 600 FICO. If he's denied, he can recon with Barclay... he can tell them of the hundreds of cards he's applied for, Barclay's is his favorite issuer. Wonder how long before his Apple card is AA'd.

I know the solution to your problems. Buy ton of Amex Serve and Bluebird cards and try manufactured spending from your Credit One card! You'll get tons of rewards that way and a nice annual fee to boot.

If you go to Wal-Mart, the Amex Bluebird cards are located at the register area. Often times, there are black sharpie markers in that area as well. Instant Centurion Card!

I am truly convinced now that this is a parody of FMC92. I don't even think he'd be that stupid.
