I was going to start gardening in September, but in a moment of "hey, free money!", I apped for and was approved for a (Chase) Amazon Visa so I could get 3% back on Amazon purchases. Of course, I didn't pay attention to the fact that 4th quarter 5% category on my Chase Freedom is, duh, Amazon.com.

OK, so I'll start now. Don't need any more cards and have always just let CLIs be automatic. FICO still floating around 770.
AmEx - Platinum (NPSL) , Blue Cash Preferred ($19,000), Gold Delta Skymiles ($8,500)
Chase - Sapphire Preferred ($14,000), Disney ($11,500), Amazon.com ($9,000), Freedom ($8,000)
CapOne - QuickSilver ($7,250) / Platinum Rewards ($7,250)

Been gardening for two weeks, all is going well! I have my new motorcycle, no big purchases coming up, and all my cards are giving me great rewards. I also cashed out $30 from Bank of America rewards just for the hell of it.
FICO TU - 728 - 8/14
FICO EX - 716 - 7/14
FICO EQ - 740 - 7/14

Bank of America Cash Rewards - $2,400
Best Buy - $3,000
American Express Blue Cash Everyday - $8,000
American Express Everyday - $10,000
Discover It Chrome - $500 (AU on fiancée's card, helping her build credit)
American Express Platinum - NPSL
Barclaycard Arrival+ - $3,000
Capital One Yamacard - $11,000

I'm focusing much more on trying to maximize my limits rather than going through the trouble of obtaining new credit and continuing to downsize my number of cards if I can. Experian I especially need to not app for anything on for quite a while. I think by November or December, I'll be more inc!ined to go for Barclays again. My other goal is to get a CLI on my student Discover card so I wouldn't need to have a Freedom at all.
Macy's TLs (21k), Lowes (17k), CSP (10k), Sam's Club (10k), Nordstrom (5k), AARP (4.2k), Freedom (3k), Discover (1.5k), Quicksilver (2k), BoA (3k), Barclaycard Arrival (2.5k), Amazon Store (6k), Paypal (4.9k), Sam's Club MC (3.6k), Walmart MC (1.2k)

I dunno, I tend to think old 09 would insist on at least some harsh interrogation as punishment, and maybe being banned for life. You aren't going to get away with any sissy writing 50 times "I am a bad, stupid boy" on the chalk board here....

He lives in Miami... that is enough punishment- being banished in a foreign land.

I guess closing a card with an imminent AF around May and reopening it in September makes at least as much sense as going through (four?) no-AF Discover cards in a year...
Wallet: Prestige CSP SchwabPlat Freedom It Hyatt SallieMae AAPlat
SD: Arrival BrooksBros BCE ED IHG
Letting new accounts cool off since May
Really not sure what I'll add next or when
