I haven't apped for any cards since January. I really don't plan on apping for anymore for at least another six months to a year. Just carrying balances right now and paying them off as quickly as I can so that's another reason why I'm not apping either. Drinkin the Kool-Aid lol.

Remember that FixMyCredit1992 guy I was telling all of you about? Well it seems like he's finally getting approved for cards despite a billion inquiries on his CRs. Pure entertainment with this thread though and I admittedly congratulated him but also told him that it probably wouldn't be such a good idea to have all those store cards in the long run.

Credit One CL $300
QVC CL $800
Walmart CL $400
Amazon Store Card CL $600
Barclay's Apple Visa: $1,200

Total of new limits: $3,300

My favorite comment in this thread has been by this fellow. Big reminder to me of what I don't ever wanna end up being.

Wait -

Each CRA has its own, separate garden now?

Boy howdy! I've been in the Equifax garden for over 4 months!

I was in the TU garden for like two months before getting shot down by Barclays but yeah, don't really feel like applying for anything else at the moment. My goal is to wait until maybe November and go for the Freedom card though the goal cards at the bottom (I'd be happy with either one of those) are not completely out of the question for next year. That's when I might consider getting rid of the WF card so I won't end up with 25 cards laying around.

I have changed my avatar to reflect my platinum status in the TransUnion garden. I won't go near the Equifax garden because someone let their dog poop all over my seedlings last time I was there. As for Experian, if I garden there, I might get my long overdue 3X CLI on my BCE and then I won't have anything to b!tch about.

Someone mentioned something about an "8 hour trick" which is extremely rare in that thread. Just when I thought I knew everything about gardening (drapping, shopping cart tricks, and gardening in the CRA garden of your choice) someone says something which shows I still have much to learn about our cult. Anyone know how to do the 8 hour trick?

I dunno. Constantly blame everyone else for your problems, carry high balances on your toy limit secured Wells Fargo card, become an AU on your mom's CC and blaming Discover for everything because your mom was out of town when they asked you for a co-applicant and doing certain tricks that shall never be mentioned over at MyFico as to how to get some inquiries off certain credit reports. You got FixMyCredit1992 for the 8 hour trick to work! I'm guessing that's more success than what Bears and Turtles has ever had with his credit.

You know it's bad when creditaddict tells you that you need to stop apping:

That's kind of like Paris Hilton telling you to stop acting sl**ty...
