They approve on credit history not score. better not have any collections, why else would you have average credit if there was no baddies. Wanted that card to, some banks just won't approve you. Want the us bank platinum  , waiting to apply for my offered amex everyday card, have PRG card about a 1 year.

I'd wait on any card with US Bank. I went onto their site a few weeks ago, curious to see how I ranked in their eyes / if I prequalified for anything. Their suggested card after a soft pull was not the Cash+ for 5% cash back, but rather a debit card. My credit history was only about 8 months old, but with no baddies and I had my FICOs around 730 at the time.

I think they are really strict with their credit standards, and that they like to see you have a few cards about a year on them, as well as a clean credit history. I don't know how inquiry-sensitive they are.
Very useful: SchwabPlat, CSP, IHG, Costco (was AA Plat), Freedom, SPG
Somewhat useful: Discover, ED (was EDP), BCE, Hyatt, Arrival
May close or PC: Prestige, BrooksBros

Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold, First Tech
