I receive two Chase Slate mailers on the same day at least twice a month. I wonder why they think I am in debt.

same here. except Barclay only send me thick plain white mails, so I can't recognize them without opening the mails

To this day I've never gotten any of those mail offers for cards but I guess it will happen eventually. Must be really annoying to have to throw those away.

I get the same thing from chase about the freedom card.... I already have a freedom card
March 2011- Wellsfargo Cash Back College Card
May 2012- Chase Freedom
May 2012- Discover IT
August 2012- American Express Blue Cash Everyday

I moved a few months ago and the junk mail has not caught up to me yet. Before I did I got credit card offers just about daily, including from Discover after I already got their card. They were targeted offers, too, addressed to me personally. One would think they would have a way of removing those cases from their mailings - it just wastes money and likely pisses off a lot of customers.

I would always mail them back in the pre-paid envelope with a post-it note saying I already had the card to make it even more expensive for them.

Primary Cards:
American Express EveryDay - $20,000 (10/14)
Discover it - $23,000 (2/14)
AU on Barclay Sallie Mae - $10,000 (8/15)
plus several store accounts of varying usefulness now
