15 point drop :0

Postby nismoZtuner » Wed Aug 13, 2014 4:26 pm

Discover just posted my statement for August and my FICO score dropped -15 points from 746. The only balance I have is about $2K on CSP card and all other cards have less than $40 or are paid off. but wow such a drop- when i see my friend with a balance of over $6-7k and his score barely drops no more than 3-4 point.. hopefully after I pay it off my score jumps 30+ points..-_-

The last score Discover posted for me was about -14 from the previous month and I had a smaller balance overall. Thought it was very weird.

Waiting for Capital One to post my updated score here in a few days, hopefully it jumps back up.

Maybe his total credit limit is more than yours. I put 12k on my cards the other month and my score didn't move.

I have 6 cards while he has been applying for cards like crazy this year- He`s at his 5th card already this year, he probably has about 9-12 cards in total. But still strange as i have more credit history and started of with 100 point more than he had when he started building credit and now hes 20 something points higher than me.
