    Default Credit Card Interest Rates

It would be beneficial to make a list of credit card interest rates on this forum. Average credit card interest rates that others are paying right now that myself and other readers would be able to compare our cards too? I'm not talking about the interest rates credit cards are openly advertising for new applicants but what those are paying right now that have their cards.

Here is what yours truly is paying right now for her APR,

-My Bank of America card is raping me with 24.99% APR on standard purchases! They increased the APR on me for no reason!

-I was able to get a Discover card that is right now 0% for another 9 months. Good thing I applied for it when I did because now I doubt I would qualify for a Discover!

-I have a Keybank Msatercard that I *hate* and they are charging me 17.99% APR on purchases!

I would love to know what are the best interest rate credit cards that others already have. I don't bother to pay attention to the advertised APR they tell you when you sign up because later on they raise it through the roof on you! That's why I say I want to know what the real customers pay long term.

My wife is paying an arm and a leg right now. I want to say it is something like 18 or 19% on the main credit card with a balance on it. She tried applying for a new credit cards with good balance transfer offers but got turned down for every one so far.....no one is giving credit anymore. It's really tough you know.

I have on Citi visa @ 16.99%. Originally was 9.99% intro rate. I thought most credit card rates would be declining since they are tied to Prime Rate + a certain percentage.

Since Prime is so low I'll bet a lot of credit cards have increase the + percentage rate.

Best thing to do is review your credit scores to see where you stand. If below 700 you may want to wait to apply for a loan. Right now people should look at improving credit score since it is difficult to get approved for a loan. (my opinion)
