Bank of America especially sounds like they've been trying to squeeze extra profits out of the credit card division lately.
Now when it comes to Visa and MC aren't they interchange fees split with the issuer? i.e. if it's a B of A Visa, doesn't Visa get part of that interchange fee, and B of A gets the rest? How much usually does the issuer get and how much does Visa/MC get?
