Default When is annual fee charged on a credit card?

For anybody that has an airline or Hotel card, after your first year is up and assuming you pay your bill in full, do you pay the annual fee?
let's say for example you have a Gold Delta do you pay the 95.00 fee then? same with the Chase Marriott only 30.00 instead of 95.00. do you pay the 30.00 annual fee?

Well I believe that with AmEx its at the end of the year they'll add it to your last monthly statement, but I'm not to sure with chase.

I'm almost sure you have to pay the annual fee on your first statement with almost Every card that requires an annual fee, including Amex, they personally told me it would be on my first statement.

Chase Marriott has a 30.00 fee, Citi American airlines has a fee I think 50.00, southwest or east Chase has a fee waived the first year.

Let me tell you people something. My Dad and his Chase Marriott he doesn't pay and my cousin on his chase southwest he doesn't either.

I don't travel on business so I don't have any airline or hotel cards, but I was wondering after your 1 year is up do you people actually keep it and pay the annual fee and it looks like you do.

It depends on the card and the issuer. Some charge it right away, some later in the year, and some waive it for the first year. I would call the issuer directly to ensure you know exactly how they'll be handling the charge to avoid any surprises.
