Default Just Tires Credit Card, WATCH OUT!

Do not use the Just Tires credit card to pay! I cannot believe how ignorant the workers are about credit cards at the Just Tires store I went to. We got a quote for a BMW 328i and it was unbelievably high, close to $1400 and the same tires were available online for much less.

The store had no coupons or savings when I went and normally I am able to negotiate and knock a little off but they wouldn't budge no matter how much I persisted. What the worker did instead was try and strongly pressure me to fill out a Just Tires credit card application. I told him how I wasn't going to do a hard inquiry on my credit report to open another credit card and the worker tried talking to me like I'm an idiot and didn't know what I was talking about, that there was no risk and nothing bad that would happen from opening the Just Tires card.

    - Does he not understand that any time a new credit card is opened there is a hard pull credit inquiry made?
    - Does he not get that the credit limit on the Just Tires credit card probably won't be $6,000 and that is what it would need to be if I want to keep my credit utilization at 25% for a $1,500 purchase.
    - Does he care what he is trying to get me to do or is the passion driven by a commission he gets for every new credit card signup?

I almost applied for a Just Tires credit card but it was to rebuild my credit. I dont know if i would have been approved but I hear tire store cards are easier to get approved for. I don't think getting one would be a bad idea to rebuild credit if that is what you want to do. There are better credit card deals if you have good credit.
