Thread: Credit cards with a $10,000 credit limit

What credit cards have a $10,000 credit limit that I can apply for and get that as my starting limit. I do not want to play the game of asking for credit limit increases every few months until I am there. My husband and I have excellent credit and previously had above a $10,000 credit limit but that was reduced during the recession. It was never raised back up and I am fed up with the bank and would rather have a fresh new credit card than continuing to deal with them. I am all ears for suggestions!

There's no such thing a "card with a $XXXX limit" of course there are premium cards that will offer that amount or more, but all depends on your personal scenario at the moment you appy. (credit score, debt-to-income ratio, other credit limits, etc.)

Try applying for a premium card and if you are not content about the approved limit, you can always call the for a reconsideration.

If you really have excellent credit then just get an AMEX gold card. It will have no limit as long as you keep your finances in order.

Why did your bank lower your limit during the recession? None of mine were lowered.

They were lowering the CLs to accounts that were nearly maxed out.
