    Default Citi credit card rate increase?

    Hi,

    I have had this credit card for almost 2 years now and I was accidentally late on one of my payments. This made my APR shoot up to 25.99%. My question is I haven't been late on a payment in over 6 months, is there a way to lower my APR back to where it was before I was late?

    Call and ask for them to lower the rate, explain what happened. Write a letter to the executive team again explain what happened how you are such a good customer etc.
