Can you transfer Jordans credit card to a 0% offer?

Postby JavaSoundStyx » Sun Sep 29, 2013 10:39 pm

Thank goodness I read that article about this site, what a great deal of help it has been as I read it this evening and there are a lot of good offers on here too.

The article advised doing a Q&A on here of your store cards and whether or not you're making the right decision with them. Mine is the Jordans Furniture credit card and I pay a 23.9% APR. It was stupid decision on my part for buying a fancy sectional sofa on borrowed money when I could have been perfectly contempt with a cheaper version. Now help me figure out how to get a payment that is less.

1) Even though this is a store account, can I transfer the balance from it?

2) Since the credit card from Jordans is managed by Cap1 does that mean that I would be disqualified for any 0% offer from Cap1. What I'm asking is if I can transfer the balance from Jordans to a Mastercard from Cap1 and still qualify for its 0% introductory rate on that transfer?

Thanks!

That's generally the case with BT's but you'd have to check the terms on the BT offer to verify.
