Slate BT for existing members?

Postby hwturner » Fri Sep 20, 2013 1:54 pm

Does Chase offer the 0% balance transfer for existing customers on the slate card throughout the year? I know my NFCU card will allow you to do a 0% BT offer at certain times during the year. I'm not sure if the Slate card is just an introductory offer.
NFCU Visa Signature Flagship $8.5k
Home Depot Consumer Card $2.5k
PNC Bank Card(AU) $2.5k
AMEX BCE $2.5k
Discover IT $3.5k
Chase Slate $5.4k

Experian: 771
Transunion: 715
Equifax: 680 (as of 08/01/2013)

According to the Slate page on the Chase site, you can transfer a balance anytime you want I'd you have the available credit. However the 0% bt fee is only for transfers made in first 60 days. After that you would pay a 3% transfer fee.

So lets say you have $1000 cl and you have two cards. One with $1000 and one with $500. You can transfer the thousand ASAP and there is no fee and no APR during the 12 month period. So lets say in 90 days you pay it off you can now transfer the other $500 but would pay a 3% fee of $15 an 12 months of 0% APR.

I hope I didn't make that more confusing than it had to be.
