My balance transfer offer is ending/expiring soon, what now?

Postby noswttea4u » Mon Feb 11, 2013 12:58 pm

I have a balance of now $12,300 for a BT I did with Chase last year that ends on 10/2013.

I was wondering if anyone knows if they will possibly extend it, or perhaps offer me a life of the balance offer?

I have a Penfed that seems to offer BT all the time, but my limit is only 6k on it.

Right now, I can afford about $300/mo payment, but beginning in May, I should be about to pay about $4-450. That still leaves me about 9k when the offer ends and I won't be able to afford it at that point.

My FICO is 670. My current expenses are $900 for apt, $250 student loan, $100 BofA CC(2k balance), $50 cell, $150 gas then food.

My take home pay is 1250 every 2 weeks.

Thanks for any help

Pay it down as much as you can, then see if you can get a Citi Simplicity to move the funds to. There's a fee but it may be worth it.
