What's better prime + margin or quarterly prime + margin

Postby HipHopSays » Wed Sep 28, 2011 1:11 pm

have a newbie question that i hope someone can help with....essentially i get that LIBOR is best as far as rates go but what i am trying to figure out if prime (plus margin) is better than quarterly prime (plus margin). i have been PIF'ing each month but i probably will want to carry a balance starting in the new year and i have one card that calculates my rate as quarterly prime + margin and another that gives me prime + margin.

Quarterly prime rate is typically based, to the best of my knowledge, on the first business day of the first month of the quarter. However since the prime rate isn't going up in the foreseeable future, I would say both will be the same.
