It through Amazon

Postby beef.stu » Fri Aug 09, 2013 5:01 am

Idk if this has been posted before but over on flyertalk I found that you can apply for the Discover It through Amazon and you will be sent a $75 Amazon gift card after your first purchase.

Here is the link to the application:
http://www.amazon.com/Discover-it%C2%AE/dp/B00AW3IXZO

Although this offer isnt quite good enough for me to hit the apply button, I figured I would share it for those who are going for the card regardless.

Just found out that I got 10K limit with a 646 Equifax score. This more then doubles my line of credit, really makes me happy. Thanks, for posting this up beef.stu

That's definitely the best offer you'll see from Discover. Even the Chase Amazon VISA usually offers $25-$30 for signing up and being approved by their card through Amazon.
My Limits:
NFCU NavCheck: $15,000/NFCU Platinum: $11,500/NFCU nRewards: $8,000
Chase Freedom: $6,500/Chase Slate: $6,000/CSP: $5,000/Marriott Rewards Primier: $5,000/United MileagePlus Explorer: $5,000/Southwest Primier: $3,000
Citi Hilton HHonors: $9,700/Citi Simplicity: $8,200/Citi Forward: $5,500
AMEX Blue Cash Everyday: $8,000/SPG AMEX: $5,000/AMEX Everyday: $5,000/AMEX Delta Skymiles Platinum: $3,400
Discover IT: $7,700
Barclay's NFL Extra Points (Carolina Panthers): $5,000
DCU Platinum: $3,000
RTN FCU CC: $2,000
CCCU Platinum Rewards Visa: $2,000

Current total limit: $129,500

Depends entirely on who you are, I'm sure. I never see an offer less than $50, and have seen $150 (not recently, though). I'm pretty sure it's been $75 the last few times I've seen it.

I don't know if it's chase or amazon who decide the offer, though.

Correction it was a 677 FICO Equifax, the highest I've seen for myself. The 646 was from bank monitoring program. I'm not sure why there is a big difference.
