5% cash back for online shopping?

Postby solaris » Tue Oct 30, 2012 6:31 pm

I'm planning to apply for this card in next few days. Just want to confirm the OCT-DEC category 5% for all online purchase. Will i get 5% on all amazon.com purchase (online store) during this period?

Amazon isn't a store. it's a online store so if you get approved from now to the end of the year you get 5% back on department stores
and online purchases. if you went to Barnes and nobles and purchased merchandise of 50.00 you would only get 1% cash back but if you purchased the same 50.00 and add 5.00 for shipping and handling from barnes and nobles .com you would get 5% cash back.
theres a cap of 1,500.

I think we get 5% for anything at all, honestly. I would fire away if you don't have a better card.

I used it for a utility bill paid online and didn't get 5%. I sent a note and they fixed it, so yes it's 5% everywhere online and if they "forget" to give it, you can "remind" them.

The only downside is the $1500 cap, I've already maxed it out.

Thank you everyone. Will buying a Iphone5 from ATT website qualifies for 5%? (NOT from apple.com and I'm planning to upgrade my phone from att.com website).

Thanks
