Default How many Discover cards can you have?

From what I understand, you can have a maximum of two cards issued by Discover (obviously there are others like FNBO, GE, etc that you could also have). Just in case anyone is wondering.

meaning you can only have like a More and an Open Road or Escape, but not all three at one time? I wouldn't really see the use of having more than one card from any card company but I do see why others might need that option. I also don't see why a card company would want to limit it. I mean if someone does want a third and they have the ability and of course the company would check your payment history to see that you can, why wouldn't you let that person get that third card it kind of hurts potential clients

Most companies probably have a limit of cards you can have from them. I've heard the limit for Amex is 10. And if they don't limit the number of cards, you can be sure they will limit your total credit (risk to them) in any case.

I have multiple credit cards with American Express due to the perks. They spread my available credit across all three. No big deal to me since I use my Platinum for everything but it's good to know if you are looking at multiple cards.

I think if you mean from the same level, I was told 6. for example i have the More card my design is Black. I guess you can have a Black,Platinum, Red white and Blue, the hockey one and the sun. or any 6 designs.

but if you mean different levels that might be 3, the More, Open road, Miles escape and Motiva I guess you could pick up to 3 .

But getting back to 1 sometimes 1 account mgr will say 1 thing then later a couple of different account mgrs will say something else.
