Thread: Fenway park team store and the cards accepted for payment

does actually take Discover credit cards. I was in Boston this weekend for my uncle's birthday. I stayed with 1 of my cousins. sunday July 31st we went to the store at 19 Yawkey way. yes I had my money order, I had my other 2 cards in a different wallet.

as I spoke to the mgr she mentioned they do take Discover, I mentioned when I called they said they didn't, I asked did you start as a couple weeks ago, the mgr said more like 2 years ago. What she mentioned is in the back of the store where they send catalogs out and ship merchandise, that mail order department doesn't take Discover cards.

But if you go to the store in person, if you live in the Mass area or if you plan on going to Boston for vacation or business and you want to stop buy their store take a tour of Fenway park the souvenir store now takes Discover.

With my Discover card I bought a Red Sox polo shirt for my brother.

Always cracks me up when something like this happens. I always assume that the counter, mail order or Internet sales use the same credit cards.

Anyway good to know if I ever go I can take the Discover.

It cracks me up that a New Yorker is visiting Fenway Park-for the Sox. I guess if the New Yorker is a Mets fan then that is not as funny.

Well this New Yorker likes the Yankees and Montreal Canadians. That Saturday when I was at my cousin's for my uncle's birthday, I had my picture taken with 1 of my other cousins. I had on my Canadians shirt and he had on a Bruins jersey. By the way the Red Sox were in Chicago that weekend.

I was up there cleaning up a Discover card / money order mess. You can probably figure out the mail order department doesn't give change back.
