    Default My Diners Club Review

I would say the card is great but not amazing. One thing for sure is that Diners Club offers the best flexibility with points - they give more hotel and airline options than any other credit card issuer - over 18 airline frequent flyer programs they work with and a lot of hotels too. Many times they offer bonuses of 10 to 50% on point transfers which is usually better than the Amex Platinum. I wish they would offer bonuses on spending and they don't seem to do that anymore. Double points bonus on normal purchases would make me use this card everywhere. The card isn't what it use to be and I would only recommend it if your travel internationally on a frequent basis. Otherwise it just isn't worth it for the annual fee they charge.

They do not pay out the full car rental insurance claims and the charge an administrative fee for the claim. This make renting a car thinking their insurance covers you a very bad idea.

That's disappointing to here, especially since Diners Club charges an annual fee.

Diners Club Winemaker of The Year Award went to Bartho Eksteen

His family are friends with mine and this was a real honor. A bit off topic for this review but I when I saw this thread I thought it was something I should speak up about. Diners Club is doing him a big favor and can't be all bad in my book for that.
