About LinkBacksyeah ok i know this is a long time off b/c it's not like we're gonna be having Christmas in july.
last Christmas discover offered a really good deal for christmas shopping. basically it was for every $100 you spent at select malls you would get a $20 gift card back. there were a a lot of malls in the program i don't remember how many but i think like 200 or something. what you would do is buy your stuff and then take the receipts to the service counter at the mall and they would give the gift cards. you spend a $1000 and you get $200 in gift cards..... not bad.....
if anyone knows if they are continuing it again please let me know bec it's worth having a discover credit card just for that reason if they do it again.

Trust me.... I know all about this little promo LOL
I did it last Christmas and spent more than I should of haha. But with 20% off why not you know. I did it at the Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor. If your mall has an Apple store (or find one that does) and you want to get a new iphone or computer do it over Christmas and pay with your Discover card so you get the 20% off. THat's how I was able to afford an Apple.

I'm pretty sure they had this the last two Christmases (is Christmases even a word? haha) so they will probably have it again this year.
That is a pretty sweet deal because that basically means you are getting 20% off everything you buy at the mall during that promo period. Go to Sears and buy all your appliances in December haha.Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. Discover 2007 holiday mall promotion
Last year this promo ran from Nov 1 thru Dec 31st...2 months total. But I remember it asbeing $20 gift cards for every $200 spent which would mean 10% back not 20%. The max amount was 5 gift cards per Discover card you have which would mean $100 savings but if you have more than one Discover card you can do that for each account. The Discover More card offers 5% during the holidays so if you use that to pay plus take advantage of this offer that's like saving $30 for every $200 you spend.
