Default Disappointed To See Discover Skipped Their Christmas Promo

The past couple years Discover had a promotion during Christmas. They partnered with 200+ plus malls and for every $200 spent at a participating mall they would give you a $20 Discover gift card. They aren't doing that this year and I'm pretty disappointed. I was actually holding off on my Christmas shopping for that.
Disclosure: I am a moderator/paid staff of this site, which does have advertising relationships with some credit cards that are discussed. Regardless, anything I say is my honest opinion.

    Current Cards:
American Express: Blue Cash, Simply Cash Bank of America: WorldPoints Platinum Plus Chase: Amazon, British Airways, Cash Plus Rewards, Freedom, Ink Cash Citi: Thank You Premier, Dividend Platinum Select Discover: More
Primary Everyday Card: American Express Blue Cash
Primary Travel Card: Citi Thank You Premier

Well I am not to surprised even though Discover is financially really stable however the economy just doesn't seem to allow goodies like that.

Discover is financially stable because people are getting fed up with their banks and switching creditors. Citi and B of A are helping Discover by irritating customers with rate increases and problems. Customers will only accept so much abuse before they go elsewhere.
