Initial credit line was $750, which is roughly 1/10 of my two other revolving lines with Amex and Chase. I'm a pay in full customer who moves decent spending through these lines. While their customer service is friendly, they weren't helpful, particularly in setting up automatic payments through their website before the first statement cuts.
I suppose it's worth keeping the card for the revolving calendar and FICO, but I imagine Discover and I will not have a fruitful relationship.
I have had more credit history than my coworker- we both applied the same time (two pcs)
I was instantly approved with a credit limit of 1,500 (my lowest ATM)
He had to call Discover since when he submitted the application he was asked to call. when he got off the phone he had a 2K limit!
I have a higher score, more history and we reported the same wage- wonder what happened there.
but thankfully amex gave me a credit limit and he didn't get one which was AWESOME!
