Should I convert my Discover Miles to an IT card?

Postby takaiguchi » Sat Feb 22, 2014 6:06 pm

I was on the phone with discover and they offered to switch my card over to an IT card from Miles. Once I switch, I can't switch back. What do you suggest?

It just depends on your use and needs. If I recall Miles is a 2% travel card with a 60 annual fee. IT is a general purpose card with rotating 5% categories. So you need to compare the two cards with your spend and use to determine if that makes sense. Only you can do that evaluation. It's not that much work or thinking just go to their site and compare the two cards and see which fits you best.

Only issue is that they don't list the miles card as an option anymore.
