Discover IT CLI!

Postby Freedomtodiscover » Thu Feb 13, 2014 9:44 pm

Finally just tried the love button again and requested a $1,500 limit increase and was approved putting me at $3,000 on a soft pull! Could have went for more to match my lowest line of credit but I figure I'd take it slow with discover and try to get something rather then nothing (Especially after over a year with no Auto Bumps!) and try again in 6 months.

The love button nice! I have had my Discover IT ($1400 limit) for a few months, how long did you wait to request the CLI? What was your average % utilization for that card?

When I first got the card I put a $1400 (Yeah I know) purchase on it to take advantage of the 0% financing. That was a year and a half ago. Paid it off in two months and only put small purchases on it since (Max $500) because I was aggravated with the $1500 limit. I spammed the love button whenever I could and got no auto CLI in that time period however I tried again the other day and finally got a $1500 raise. Still not as high as my other but I like I said, I figured I'd try low and then work my way up again in anther 6 months.

I guess it's "credit limit increase request"
All my posts are my opinions. All my posts mentioned "you" are merely for discussion-purpose only. No advice is given in any post at any time. It is also impossible for me to put effort to verify every statement that anyone has given.

Yea that's what I assumed. I do not know if it is because I have a student card but whenever I click on the link to ask for a increase it says there was a technical difficulty and I can't access it. Been like that since I got the card.
