Discover Cashback Extras

Postby Smart_Shopper » Sat Dec 14, 2013 1:05 am

Looks like Discover is going to start a program similar to AMEX offers.

New! Enjoy even more savings on top of the Cashback Bonus you earn on every purchase. From instant savings with printable coupons, mobile coupons you can show right from your phone and online coupon codes to the automatic savings of statement credits and extra Cashback Bonus, these deals make it even easier for you to save.

All my offers were $x off $XX with automatic statement credits. Most of my offers expire in less than a week and a few in about 10 days. Looking at the offers, I hope they improve and have longer redemption periods.

Interested to see how this develops.

This program has been around at least a few months.

Two months ago I got a statement credit for using my Discover It at the local Panera Bread. This could be a nice added bonus next quarter when the category is Movies & Restaurants.

Maybe they are rolling them out it groups.

I have a IT card. When I logged in, the info was on the right side of my screen. The area that tells you what the quarterly bonus is and if you are signed up. Immediately below that link, it was the sign up/you're signed up for the 1st quarter. Underneath that link was the earn more with shop discover. And, for the first time on my screen, underneath that link was the Extras link.

I have the "extras" link too but none of the offers looked too interesting to me. Hopefully they improve this!

Just out of curious, anyone know if it's an one-time only or we can use multiple times? Their language doesn't say it's an one-time offer like Amex though.
All my posts are my opinions. All my posts mentioned "you" are merely for discussion-purpose only. No advice is given in any post at any time. It is also impossible for me to put effort to verify every statement that anyone has given.

Hope they do something with Amazon. Their deal with Walmart is great.
Gold American Express, since 1979,
back when it meant something.
And a few other cash back cards as well.
